Collaboration with PANGAIA 2024

Collaboration with PANGAIA 2024

I recently had the privilege of partnering with PANGAIA on a unique wholesale project that combined art, fashion, and environmental awareness. PANGAIA’s unwavering commitment to sustainability and innovation has always inspired me, so collaborating with them once again was an absolute honor.

The project focused on local biodiversity, using hand-painted UK wildflowers to create designs that celebrate the natural beauty of native flora. These flowers weren’t just scattered randomly—they were carefully manipulated into the shape of the word PANGAIA, creating a beautiful balance between art and storytelling.

Pangaia’s thoughtfulness is incredible to me. The people I get to meet and work with there, are so talented and innovative. I’m always astounded that they are able to see me and all the things I try to do and be.
You might expect to feel seen and appreciated by those close to you, but to be seen and appreciated (to the point that you are given work) by people you admire so much, at such a big organisation… It does not happen every day, in fact, I don’t think this happens to many creators, especially creators as ‘small’ as I am.
But they don’t make me feel small, they don’t judge me on my size, or virality… or current circumstances. They have always seen what I’m trying to do, and they have always supported me.

❤️✨❤️

True to PANGAIA’s mission of sustainability, the pieces I painted weren’t made from newly created materials. Instead, they were crafted from
leftover stock, giving new life to garments that already existed. This approach to upcycling is close to my heart—it’s about finding ways to reduce waste and make meaningful use of what we already have. Every brushstroke on these pieces felt like a small step toward a more thoughtful and eco-friendly fashion industry.

The final pieces were sold exclusively in PANGAIA’s flagship store on Carnaby Street in London—a hub for creative, conscious fashion. While I didn’t make it to London myself (big crowds and bustling cities aren’t my thing!), I’ve been lucky enough to hear from customers who visited the store and shared their thoughts on the collection. If you were one of those people—thank you! Seeing the designs come to life in such an iconic location was incredibly rewarding.

Collaborations like this are a reminder that I’m not alone. They’re a chance to blend art with purpose, to celebrate the beauty of nature, and to work with brands that truly care about making a difference. PANGAIA’s dedication to environmental science and innovation pushes the boundaries of what fashion can be, and it’s exciting to play even a small role in their journey.

I hope this is just the beginning of more projects like this—where art, sustainability, and community come together. If you happen to visit the Carnaby Street store, I’d love to hear your thoughts or see photos of the collection in its natural habitat.

Thank you, PANGAIA, for trusting me with this project, and to everyone who supports these collaborative efforts. Here’s to more creativity, upcycling, and celebrating biodiversity in 2025!
